So to end my experience/review here is either the people that live here are super entitled, or again, the building is poorly built.

I can’t tip toe around.” The guy below us threatens to go to management and the police department. The mover responded “Im over 200 pounds trying to do my job, as you are. To top it off, the day we were moving, we hired movers and the person below us approached the movers and asked him to be more quiet since he was working from home. We knew our limits were reached when our neighbor had a leasing agent come to our door around 4pm and asked us to be respectful to turn down our music as we were cleaning. (We lived on the 3rd floor) It’s truly hard to live in a place and walk on eggshells Bc you’re afraid you’re being too loud. If I’m wearing heels, the person below us will bump the top of his ceiling.

Our neighbor on the other side will bump when we’re watching a movie around 8pm. Our alarm goes off in the morning and our neighbor will bump that side of the wall. Here’s some examples of what we went through. We didn’t think that it would be that bad but it’s one of the biggest reasons why we left and cancelled our lease early. Our main concern was one of the common trends in the reviews, the structure of the building and it’s thin walls. So every time we have guests come, I’m hesitant to let them park in the back over night. As far as cons: there’s frequent car break ins as we were a victim the first night we moved in. They were very fast and attentive to our needs/concerns. The apartment has an industrial/modern look which is what we first fell in love with! Another great thing about Domus was the staff specially Lena and Nicole. The location was perfect, next to a lot of good food places and central of everything.

Granted we were facing the pool, but seeing the trees and mountains were a plus. Pros: our views were great from our apartment balcony. So after living at Domus for approximately 8 months here’s our final review. It also happens to be in a really great 5 block radius, with a decent amount to access (Kachina park, CVS, LGO, Postinos, Ingos) while walking on safe wide streets with sidewalks and bike lanes. Did a thorough apartment search within a 3 mile radius of Domus this summer and checked out some new places like Biltmore Pearl. Hes extremely responsive, professional, and hes trained his junior staff to be the same way.Again, Ive lived here for 5+ years now and I keep coming back to Domus. He worked with me to keep me at Domus and to find an apartment that could fit my evolving needs. Also, Mark in maintenance has been here for the entire time of my living at Domus.

He has his hands full managing our community Im sure but always makes time for face to face 1 on 1 meetings, like when my lease came up for renewal. Particularly, Corey the current manager of Domus is wonderful. But one thing has remained: extremely friendly, helpful, empathetic staff who go beyond to keep residents as happy as possible.Certain decisions are of course made at corporate very remote from the community but here at Domus I do feel like we have community and resident advocates in our staff. Ive looked at other apartments but have always come back to Domus.Following Covid, Domus has reopened and rededicated themselves to tenant appreciation activities weve had 2 within the last 2 months this summer, and the 3rd party party planners (PWYN) always does a nice job.Domus has gone up and down over the years as far as improvements to the amenity offerings with no significant net improvements (nor losses) in the 6 years Ive been here. I started in a 1 bedroom then studio then 1 bedroom and now 2 bedroom.
